*These controls have options turned on by default that allow grabs with LMB + RMB and shuffles by double tapping a movement key. Most people would advise to turn these options off in the game menu, as accidentally grabbing or shuffling could lose you a match. Another option to play with is Lag Compensation, found in the game options; apparently this feature is not needed when fighting players that are very close to your latency.
Each of the four characters has a unique fighting style suited to how you want to play.
Phalanx, a fencer gladiator hybrid, attacks with long-range stabs and a versatile array of side attacks
Judgment, a knight crossed with a samurai, uses hard-hitting forward attacks and wide strafing attacks
Ryoku, a vagrant street ninja, attacks with break dance moves and a signature reverse blade style
Pure, an acrobatic wushu style assassin that attacks with flips, cartwheels, extremely mobile
Vanguard, a quick-footed champion that uses leaning plunges to push opponents into her blade
Attack and defend in three dimensions, with Blade Symphony’s intricate combo system. You can engage in 1v1 and 2v2, a control-point mode for teams of two, an a sandbox free-for-all area, where you can challenge other players to one-off duels. If you’re feeling up for a challenge, take on two players at once in the “hilariously awesome” 2v1 mode.
