Review: The Elder Scrolls®: Legends™
Step into an adventure in The Elder Scrolls: Legends, a Free To Play digital CCG based on the world of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls series of popular RPGs. Determine your deck’s “class” by choosing one or two out of five attributes — such as strength and intelligence for a battlemage — and play a series of creatures, special abilities, and spells to reduce your opponent’s health to zero.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends offers several strategic options not found in most other CCGs. Combat occurs in two different lanes, forcing players to choose the right place to deploy their creatures — and when to not deploy anything at all. Also, as your health is depleted by enemy attacks, you’ll have the option to play cards with the Prophecy keyword for free, turning the tide of battle.
PLAY ON YOUR OWN Story mode provides hours of solo gameplay in which you’ll earn new Legends cards, decks, and packs. Or draft a deck from scratch and battle a series of computer opponents.
PLAY AGAINST OTHERS Test your decks against friends, challenge online opponents in ranked play, or draft a deck from scratch and battle other players who have done the same.
PICK YOUR BATTLES Legends gameplay features a divided battlefield with “lanes” that deepen your Strategy options.
The Elder Scrolls®: Legends™ Gameplay
Complete daily tasks to gather gold that can be spent on additional cards or an entrance ticket to the Arena.
At first, gather gold but don't spend it on cards. It's better to use it to gain access to the Arena. Not only will this help you become better at playing your cards, but you also will have a chance to gain additional prizes.
Despite the fact that Magic Elixir has three charges, it can be used only once per turn.
If you receive damage and lose a rune surrounding the portrait, you will draw one card. Prophecy cards can be played right away, without any magic cost. If you have removals, make sure to eliminate minions that are about to attack or those that are the biggest threat.
Protection cards can be attackeded in the first order. Hide vulnerable minions behind ones with Protection.
Minions with Aim can shoot at units from other rows.
Action cards that allow you to move minions between rows, are especially useful when it comes to minions that can attack more than once per turn. This way you will be able to kill a minion in each row.
