Review: Games of Glory
Fight alongside your friends on PC and on PS4 in the epic intergalactic arenas of the Synarchy. Strategy, raw talent, practice, and teamwork will get you to the top - but can you stay there?
Set in a SCI-FI universe, Games of Glory is a competitive, team-based, Free To Play arena game that puts Shooter mechanics into a top-down environment. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a true Sports arena!
The heroes themselves are called clones — they do die a lot, after all — many with a strong Nordic feel and names like Byron, Ragnar, and Jorndyr. Each brings its own abilities to the arena, as well as having the pick of over 50 weapons, with everything from daggers to rocket launchers. Players tweak their builds to produce the most effective fighters, and there are alternate skins and hats for purchase, to further add to the customization options.

Please note that weapons can only be purchased while in your home base. On the Svandia (main) map, they must also be purchased during one the short preparatory phases at the beginning of the game or between each round.
For each type of weapon, two types of improvements are possible. The first improves the “pure damage” that a weapon deals. The second type is “modifications”, which will evolve your weapon’s special capacities. For each family of weapon, there are three sequential tiers of modifications that can be purchased. At each tier, you will have the choice of one of two mods.
