Review: Heroes of The Storm
Heroes of The Storm is a crossover multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and released on June 2, 2015, for Microsoft Windows and macOS. The game features various characters from Blizzard's franchises as playable heroes, as well as different battlegrounds based on Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and Overwatch universes.[4] The game is free-to-play, based on the freemium business model, and is supported by microtransactions which can be used to purchase heroes, visual alterations for the heroes in the game, mounts, and other cosmetic elements. Blizzard does not call the game a multiplayer online battle arena" or an "Action real-time strategy" because they feel it is something different with a broader playstyle; they refer to it as an online "hero brawler
Before each match, players will select a hero from one of four archetypes available. Based on the player’s choice, Heroes of The Storm will attempt to match players with other teammates whose heroes complement the team’s composition. Heroes of The Storm offers several highly thematic maps, each with their own main objective teams will want to compete over. These objectives range from collecting doubloons used to bribe a ghost pirate ship into bombarding the enemy’s base or capturing shrines in order to become an imposing Dragon Knight capable of punting enemies afar and leveling entire towers with a few swings of his ax. Regardless of the map, these objectives are crucial to ensuring a team’s victory, forcing team fights on a regular basis.
The Nexus offers multiple ways to duke it out in an objective-driven, fast-paced team on team battles. Find the mode that best suits your style and carve your path to glory!
Heroes of The Storm Gameplay
Warriors are heroes with a lot of health. They can also stop the enemies with stuns, roots etc. Usually, they don't do much damage in a short time. They go in the first row to protect weaker teammates. Examples of Warriors: Arthas, Diablo, E.T.C., Tyrael, Muradin.
Support Characters made to support the team with healing and buffs (attack speed, movement speed etc.). They also have a wide range of skills that limit the enemy's movement. Using the Support wisely can keep the teammates alive long enough to let them kill the enemies. Characters of this type don't do much damage and stay away from combat to help the teammates. Examples of Support: Li Li, Uther, Tyrande, Malfurion, Rehgar.
Specialists are more versatile so they can do many things at a time. Usually they try to gain advantage by attacking the enemy fort and making the opposite team focus on it.
